Illustrator Christine Mi created this immerse account of a transcontinental from California to New York aboard an Amtrak train. The result is a comic that felt as meandering and delightful as a train trip itself. At a time of increasing isolation and self-optimization, Mi’s comic evokes a slower and more communal way of life.
